Imagine a huge stationary Ferris Wheel. That's your design flywheel, sitting idly without any movement. In order to become a great designer, you need to send this flywheel to space, to the moon. How do you do that? By rotating it of course. Pushing it hard, get it moving, build momentum until it flies off into space. Simple right? But the first push, the first rotation is going to take some time. It's going to take many hours. But once the 1st rotation is complete, you'll build momentum and now the 2nd rotation becomes easier. The momentum keeps building and your effort keeps reducing, you get faster and faster until the launch. But the 1st rotation is difficult.

That's what Design Flywheel is about. Getting started in UI/UX design, knowing everything you can to make your first rotation or first step easy so that as you grow it'll just get easier and easier.

🚀 It's Not Rocket Science

Getting started with UI/UX design isn't rocket science. There are a lot of resources out there but you just need to find the right ones and find them quickly in order to grow faster. I'm going to be open with you, here's the loop that you need to enforce to get started. It's simple and obvious if you really think about it. Just follow this and it'll be easier for you to start. But I'm sure you still have a lot of questions in your mind. Is it a good career? What is UX design? Do I need to learn to code? Is there scope in India? and much more. Been there, done that :) That's why I've put together a comprehensive guide, answering ALL your questions!

👋 Who am I

A multidisciplinary designer who has stepped into the design world after 2 years of exploring and wandering about! I've had the opportunity to work at various companies (Microsoft, FamPay, Coca-Cola), been selected as an Interaction Designer at Digital Product School, Munich and faced a fair amount of rejections :) If you want to know more about me you can check out previous classes and content I've showcased publicly
